Privacy Policy

How we handle your information on the Cruiser's Planet website and mobile application. Last updated February 2026.

Who we are

Cruiser's Planet sells pre-owned premium motorcycles from E-27, Main Road, Block E, Naraina Vihar, Naraina, New Delhi, Delhi 110028, Delhi. This policy covers https://cruisersplanet.com/ and the Cruiser's Planet mobile application for Android and iOS.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and complete a sale.

  • Account details — your mobile number, and your name, email address and city if you choose to provide them. A mobile number is required to create an account because we verify it with a one-time password.
  • Enquiries and bookings — the motorcycle you asked about, your preferred test-ride or showroom date, and any message you send us.
  • Exchange requests — details and photographs of the motorcycle you want to sell or exchange, which you upload yourself.
  • Reviews — the rating and text you submit. Reviews are shown publicly with your first name and last initial only.
  • Saved motorcycles — your wishlist and recently viewed list, so they follow you between devices.
  • Device token — if you allow notifications, a push token that lets us send you alerts. It does not identify you personally.

What we do not collect

  • We do not collect payment card or bank details. No payment is taken in the app.
  • We do not track your location.
  • We do not read your contacts, photos or files. Photographs are only accessed when you choose them for an exchange request.
  • We do not use advertising networks or third-party analytics trackers in the app.

Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange test rides, visits and delivery.
  • To value a motorcycle you want to exchange.
  • To send you updates you asked for — booking confirmations, delivery status and, if you allow notifications, new arrivals and price drops.
  • To keep records of sales as required for our business and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising by other companies.

Who we share it with

We share your details only where it is necessary to provide the service:

  • SMS provider — your mobile number, to deliver your one-time verification code.
  • Push notification service — your device token, to deliver notifications you have opted into.
  • Delivery partners — your name, phone number and address, only when you have arranged a delivery.
  • Finance partners — only if you ask us to arrange finance, and only with your consent at that time.

We may also disclose information where required by law.

How long we keep it

Account information is kept while your account is active. Enquiry, booking and sale records are kept as business records even after an account is deleted, but they are anonymised so they no longer identify you.

Your choices

  • Notifications — turn them off at any time in your device settings, without affecting anything else.
  • Correct your details — update your name, email and city from the Profile screen in the app.
  • Delete your account — in the app, go to Profile → Delete my account. If you no longer have the app installed, use our account deletion request page.

Deleting your account removes your profile, saved motorcycles, reviews and notification tokens. Enquiry and sale records are retained as business records with your name and contact details removed.

Security

The website and app are served over HTTPS. Passwords are not used for customer accounts — sign-in is by one-time code sent to your mobile number, and verification codes are stored hashed, expire after ten minutes and are limited to five attempts. Access to customer information is restricted to authorised Cruiser's Planet staff.

Children

The app is intended for adults purchasing motorcycles and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
